Support evidence of a positive effect of McTimoney Chiropractic and with the use of Magnetic rug(1000gauss) on the horses’ back muscle sensitivity to pain (increased MNTs) compared to no treatment intervention for 14 days
Further research is required on the differences between the treatments on muscle tonicity effects and performance parameters and horses with back pain.
An investigation into the effect of the relationship between spinal vertebrae alignment and the performance of FEI international 1* event horses at a British Eventing competition.

Event horses that had a lower total number of misalignments were more likely to be placed higher in a FEI 1* eventing competition.
Further research of effects of correcting misalignments on performance parameters is recommended.
Is there a relationship between the age at which training the National Hunt Thoroughbred Racehorse commences and chiropractic assessment of skeletal symmetry.

Commencing training of National Hunt (NH) racehorses at 3yrs (rather than 4) had, on average, fewer misalignments of the spine and pelvis.
Training at an earlier age may be beneficial for skeletal symmetry.
