Understanding pain behaviours in your equine and canine companions
Free webinar Thur 28th March 7.30
The McTimoney College of Chiropractic will be holding a webinar on Thursday the 28th of March presented by McTimoney Animal Association members Vanessa Davidson and Amanda Powell.
This webinar will explain how pain manifests and how we can spot even the most subtle signs of pain or discomfort as well as what we can do to assess the causes and provide relief.
How is your horse or dog feeling right now? Could they be feeling pain or discomfort and how likely are we to know?
Whilst pain above a certain threshold is likely to cause physically observable changes in movement or behaviours, animals are adept at hiding low-level and particularly chronic pain, accommodating our demands in training and performance.
McTimoney treatment focusses on achieving symmetry, alleviating compensatory movement patterns, and thereby improving athletic performance.
